PsyPact Provider Tara Frem, PsyD, HSP (she/her) is a Canadian who received her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. In Chicago, she completed clinical rotations providing psychological assessment services for homeless women, voluntary and court-ordered treatment related to substance abuse and domestic violence, and creating psychological affidavits for asylum-seeking torture survivors.
Dr. Frem completed her pre-doctoral internship and post-doctoral fellowship in Louisville, KY. At Seven Counties Services (7CS; formerly Centerstone), she continued working with court-ordered sex offenders and DCFS-involved parents. She also provided general therapy and conducted psychological assessments for Autism Spectrum Disorders, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, and mood and personality disorders. At Kentucky Correctional Psychiatric Center (KCPC), Dr. Frem completed the psychological testing for forensic evaluators as part of competency and criminal responsibility evaluations. Since her post-doc, Dr. Frem worked in the stabilization wing of the Correctional Psychiatric Treatment Unit at the Kentucky State Reformatory and in a private practice conducting Compensation and Pension evaluations for the VA as well as spinal cord stimulator pre-surgical clearance evaluations. Dr. Frem’s current focus at Compass is conducting comprehensive clinical evaluations for diagnostic clarification to help inform treatment. Outside of the office, Dr. Frem enjoys strength and conditioning, reading, yoga, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. |
