Dr. Demi Lincoln (she/her) completed her Psy.D in Clinical Psychology at Spalding University in 2023. Dr. Lincoln has a special interest in working with adults who have experienced childhood and complex trauma. Utilizing Interpersonal and Psychodynamic techniques, Dr. Lincoln strives to create a therapeutic space safe to explore, process, and grow beyond past traumatic experiences. In addition, Dr. Lincoln is informed in Internal Family Systems and integrates techniques in her clinical practices. Her other clinical interests include working with folks who have experienced or currently struggle with interpersonal dysfunction, anxiety, depression, gender and sexual identity development and exploration. Dr. Lincoln takes an interpersonal and collaborative approach to therapy with the goal of guiding clients to find autonomy in their life choices and developing skills to create and live a meaningful life. Dr. Lincoln is a PsyPact provider, meaning she is licensed and eligible to see folks in 42 states that are PsyPact approved!
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Lincoln is an adjunct professor at Spalding University School of Professional Psychology, serves on the board for the Kentucky Psychological Association, and supervises Post-Doctoral Fellows at Compass. Outside of work, she loves to spend time outside with her husband and dogs, thrifting second-hand treasures, and watching reality television. |
