DEMI LINCOLN, PSYDLicensed Psychologist
Dr. Demi Lincoln (she/her) earned her Psy.D in Clinical Psychology at Spalding University in 2023. She completed her predoctoral internship at Clemson University Counseling and Psychological Services. While on internship, Demi was a part of the CU CARES trauma treatment team where she worked with survivors who recently or historically have experienced sexual assault, interpersonal and complex trauma. Her past experiences include providing support and therapy to children and their parents in rural Indiana, providing individual and group therapy to undergraduate and graduate students at Spalding University, and providing individual therapy and DBT group therapy to adolescents and adults at Compass Counseling.
Her clinical interests include trauma, interpersonal dysfunction, anxiety, depression, gender and sexual identity development and working with LGBTQ+ folks. Demi takes an interpersonal and collaborative approach to therapy with the goal guiding clients to find autonomy in their life choices and skills to create a meaningful life. Demi has nearly completed her postdoctoral fellowship at Compass under the supervision of Dr. Matthew Gilbert and will becomes independently licensed by the end of 2024. Outside of work, Demi loves to spend time outside with her husband and dog, thrifting, and watching reality television. |
