OLIVIA PARKER, PsyDPOSTDOCTORAL FELLOW
Dr. Olivia Parker (she/her) completed her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology at Spalding University in 2026 and is currently a Post-Doctoral Fellow with her Licensed Psychological Associate-Temporary license, as she pursues full licensure. She provides therapy to adolescents and adults using a psychodynamic and interpersonal approach. Dr. Parker completed her APA-accredited doctoral internship at Butler University, where she focused on trauma-informed care and time-limited dynamic psychotherapy.
Dr. Parker has a special interest in working with individuals who have experienced childhood trauma, complex trauma, as well as those who feel stuck in patterns within their relationships. She works with clients navigating challenges with friends, family, or romantic partners, by helping them better understand how past experiences and attachment patterns may be showing up in their current lives. Her other clinical interests include individuals experiencing anxiety or depression and working with those who identify within the LGBTQIA+ community. Her approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and insight oriented. Dr. Parker believes that many current psychological and relational struggles were once adaptive ways of coping. She views clients as feeling stuck in patterns that may no longer serve them, and works collaboratively to explore these patterns, build self-understanding, and develop more fulfilling ways of relating. She also incorporates practical coping strategies to support emotional regulation. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time in nature, playing tennis, reading psychological thrillers, and walks with her partner and their two Dalmatians. |
