MARYEIM SALOHA
Administrative Assistant
Hi, I’m Maryeim (she/her), a psychology student entering my third year of undergrad. I’ve always had a heart for people and a deep curiosity about the mind—why we feel, think, and behave the way we do. Studying psychology has helped me begin to understand those questions and has shown me how powerful support, empathy, and presence can be in someone’s life. While I’m still figuring out exactly where this journey will lead, I know I’m meant to use what I’m learning to care for others in an impactful way.
My passion for mental and emotional wellness is rooted in real-life experiences. Over the past few years, I’ve volunteered at in different roles—from helping with youth groups and childcare, to organizing events and leading small groups. Each setting gave me a front-row seat to the emotional needs of others—from kids needing patience and security, to teens searching for identity and direction. Being there for them has shaped how I view psychology—not just as a science, but as a tool for healing, connection, and growth. My faith guides how I show up: with love, gentleness, and the intention to be someone others can trust. Outside of school and volunteering, I love journaling, creating art, soaking up the sun, and spending time with my loved ones. I’m always down for a deep conversation over coffee or a spontaneous adventure. I try to live life with a soft heart, strong values, and the belief that even the little moments can make a big impact. As I continue growing in my education and walk with God, I’m excited to keep learning how to serve others in the most authentic and loving way possible. |
