BRIANNA JONES, LPA
Licensed Psychological Associate
Brianna Jones, LPA (she/her) specializes in working with adults struggling with anxiety, trauma, grief/loss, perfectionism, and difficult relationships with caregivers. She particularly enjoys working with clients experiencing difficulty with personal identity, coping with their emotions, determining the next steps for their life, or people-pleasing tendencies.
Brianna’s goal is to help her clients live authentic and fulfilling lives in connection with their values and their bodies. She strives to help her clients learn how to take away the power and control that emotions and thoughts have over their lives. Brianna takes a collaborative, client-centered approach, and highly values the therapeutic relationship. She utilizes a combination of traditional talk therapy, mindfulness, self-compassion, and body-based somatic exercises. Brianna believes that her clients deserve to be fully seen and heard throughout the therapy process. Brianna received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Louisville in 2017 and her Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology from Murray State University in 2019. Brianna has experience working with adults with anxiety, social anxiety, grief, and trauma, as well as children and families in the foster care system, and incarcerated women with a history of sexual assault. Brianna also has experience providing intensive outpatient group therapy. Brianna enjoys spending her free time attending group fitness classes, reading, hosting themed parties, and watching reality tv. |
